Meridian House is new. We'd rather tell you that plainly than dress it up — so here's what we're actually building and why.
What we're building
Two collections, one point of view
Meridian House exists because a lot of people who love decorating their homes for every season also happen to have a dog who deserves the same treatment. We didn't see a shop doing both well, with the same eye for pattern and color across each — so we're building one.
Pets covers apparel and accessories. Seasonal covers decor for the moments on the calendar worth decorating for — July 4th, harvest, Christmas, and whatever comes after. Both live under one roof, one aesthetic, one shop.
How we source
Print-on-demand apparel, small-batch decor
We're not a workshop and we don't make everything by hand — we want to be upfront about that. Apparel and pet accessories are produced print-on-demand, which means each piece is made to order rather than mass-produced and warehoused ahead of time. It's slower, but it means less waste and no shelf of unsold inventory.
Our seasonal decor is sourced in small wholesale buys from independent makers and studios — the kind of maker marketplaces where you find people who actually care about the object they're making. We choose pieces the same way we'd shop for our own home: for pattern, color, and whether it earns a spot on the mantel.
What we won't do is invent a founding story that isn't true, or tell you something is handmade-in-house when it isn't. If it changes as we grow, we'll update this page to say so.

We haven't shipped an order yet, so we're not going to show you five-star testimonials that don't exist. Once real customers have real experiences, we'll share them here — good, bad, or in between. Until then, the best trust signal we can offer is telling you exactly where things stand.
